  1. Chris R

5.0 out of 5 stars Very down to earth and personal, like having Rikki in the room coaching me through.

Not overwhelming or too clinical. Just a nice simplified journey through attachment healing.
Thank you for not requiring a degree to read, understand and start the healing process.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for anxious attachers that are sick of their own stuff!

Very well written. Quick read but very informative. It was nice to know I’m not alone in the way I feel in most of my relationships. I want to change my ways. I’ve really wanted to better understand someone else’s view of my behavior. Thank you for this guide!

This book allowed me to open my heart to myself in ways I have never known, and is guiding me towards secure attachment. It’s a simple read and the homework questions really allow for deep internal reflection if you are true and honest with yourself! Thank you Rikki. Also her Instagram is a gem as well!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful and interesting

This book was great to read- funny, straightforward, and it felt like a friend talking to me. I am not an anxious heart, but my husband is and this really helped our relationship and gave me a better understanding of where he is coming from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical, Gentle, Informative

I picked up this book after following the account on social media. I felt this was almost like having a therapist on call. The book taught me about anxious attachment and how to become a more self confident and securely attached person. There are many practical exercises that when implemented can help you become the person you want to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very personal and easy read about real things

I really enjoyed the rhetorical questions and personal anecdotes. This book was an easy read along with offering lots of continuing learning.
Surprisingly, considering how many of these books I have read, I learned things
These type of books tend to be preachy in I made it through and so can you. This has a little of that but with lots of reminders that it takes a lot of hard work

5.0 out of 5 stars Very practical and relatable, great read!

I’m a therapist with my own therapist doing some work to improve my own anxious tendencies and I found this book immensely helpful. Rikki has a compassionate way of explaining things that helps them sink in, things I often share with others but struggle to apply myself sometimes. This would be helpful for anyone who struggles with feeling anxious while dating or in relationships.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely enlightening and gives hope.

I found this book through a tiktok video and reading it has started me on a huge journey for change that I’ve always needed. It’s given me awareness of behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that I tend to have in romantic relationships that have been completely unconscious until now. Absolutely recommend to anyone struggling with anxious attachment, or anyone who’s in a relationship with an anxiously-attached person. So glad I found this book.
